This is an exciting career opportunity for a WordPress/Shopify Developer to join our team of marketing professionals.   

Digital Six is an Australian digital marketing agency growing rapidly. We're currently interviewing for a WordPress/Shopify Developer to improve and maintain new and existing websites for both our valued, long-standing clients and new clients. The work is in line with AEST (GMT+10) from 9am - 5:30pm.

Supported by highly experienced management and a team of digital marketing and design professionals you will put your developer skills to work every day on a variety of projects and brands. You’ll apply both technical and practical thinking to meet our clients’ briefs and exceed their expectations. Majority of new web builds will be designs from Figma mock-ups, and you will be responsible for the development and performance of the website.

Skills Required

• Advanced WordPress knowledge (Understanding of plugin integration, API integrations, Elementor Pro, ACF Custom Fields, and Gutenburg)
• Comfortable working across common CMS's such as Shopify, Magento etc. 
• Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP.
• Thorough understanding of Data layers, APIs and web infrastructure.
• Solid understanding and ability to execute responsive websites following a clear set of Figma designs
  ➤Each website will consist of bespoke templates that are designed in Figma, each template must have      the ability to be updated, restructured and replicable to build out the sitemap.
  ➤Each website must boast a Lighthouse report of 90+ on both mobile and desktop, SEO optimised,          and be responsive to all devices. 
• Stack testing on all devices is required. 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Website and plugin code maintenance and upgrades.
• Identify and resolve any bugs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Efficient turnaround time 
• Strong understanding of the deployment phase of the project through the clients hosting and domain provider.
• Integrations of GA & GTM is a requirement
