Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring they are optimized for functionality, performance, and security. Customize existing themes and plugins to enhance features or integrate additional functionality as per project needs. 
• Collaborate with team members to align development work with design mockups and client specifications, ensuring a seamless and polished end product.
• Develop WordPress.org-compliant themes, adhering to coding standards, accessibility guidelines, and best practices to meet the platform’s requirements.
• Customize WordPress websites according to client requirements, ensuring a tailored and user-friendly experience.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to create responsive and visually appealing websites.
• Work with page builders such as Elementor and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to deliver functional, client-specific solutions.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize websites for performance and security.
• Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends and best practices.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in developing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress core.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor and ACF.
• Proven ability to customize WordPress websites to meet client needs and preferences.
• Experience in developing WordPress.org-compliant themes with a focus on coding standards and accessibility.
• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-related tools.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for website development.
• Understanding of Git or other version control systems.
