USAID Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) project is an adolescent co-led initiative to empower girls and boys, 10-19 years including the most marginalized, to attain their adolescent reproductive health (ARH) rights. The goal of the program is to support adolescents to reach their full potential by; ensuring they receive correct and appropriate reproductive health (RH) information and guidance to decision-making skills, creating an environment conductive in making healthy reproductive health decisions and facilitating translation of these decisions into healthy behaviors.

About the position: 

The Dignified Work post holder, supported by the Head of Women and Markets, is one of a team of advisors in the Women’s Economic Justice Team. As an advisor, you will be responsible supporting the quality and scale of our Dignified Work programming alongside CARE colleagues, partners and stakeholders.  The focus of the strategy is on women workers in the garment industry.

You will be part of a global team but will work closely in the Asia region to provide technical advisory support to country offices, support strategic proposals, convene experts across CARE to strengthen our work and nurture and build strategic relationships. You will also use data to help us identify our impact and strengthen our approaches.

You are a passionate, self-motivated and experienced expert on dignified work with a particular focus on gender equality in the garment industry. You have in-depth understanding of global value chains.

You can work independently and have a track record of working at a global or regional level and of providing technical advice to large, successful donor projects. You have strong networks and also have experience of working closely companies, governments and international organisations.

Salary: £39,878 per annum or equivalent in local currency
Contract:
 Full time, Fixed Term Contract
Location: 
Flexible. Any country where CARE has an office in Asia

Please note that the candidate needs to have the right to work in the country where they wish to be based. This contract does not include relocation or schooling fees.

The post holder will be required to travel internationally up to approximately 30% of the time.
