Roles and responsibilities of this job

DB Nexio Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Website Developer to join our team in Lokanthali, Bhaktapur. This is a part-time, mid-level position suited for someone who can independently build, maintain, and improve websites for our company and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks
Build and customize websites on platforms such as WordPress, including theme and plugin customization
Ensure websites are optimized for speed, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
Integrate third-party tools, APIs, payment gateways, and contact/booking forms as required
Troubleshoot bugs, perform regular updates, and manage website hosting and domain-related tasks
Coordinate with the design and marketing team to translate requirements into functional web pages
Maintain website security, backups, and performance monitoring

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Education Level: Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
Experience Required: Minimum 1–2 years in website development
Professional Skill Required: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, PHP, MySQL, Responsive Web Design, SEO, Web Hosting Management
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with the ability to build clean, responsive layouts
Hands-on experience with WordPress, including theme/plugin customization and Elementor or similar page builders
Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL for backend customization
Familiarity with a modern JS framework (React or Vue) is an advantage
Understanding of on-page SEO, site speed optimization, and mobile-first design
Experience with domain, hosting, cPanel, and basic server management
Ability to use Git or similar version control tools
Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali
Portfolio of previous websites or projects is highly preferred
