As a Graphic/Web Designer, you must have these skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or other designing software.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and standards of web development.
  • Creative, hard working and adaptive to work within tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Experience in designing interface for dynamic/e-commerce/content-management-systems preferred. 

Job Description

  • Plan concept by studying information and materials.
  • Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Design website/web-application interface,
  • Design logo, newspaper ad and print materials such as brochures, pamphlets, catalogs etc.
  • Design periodic e-newsletter
  • Code from PSD to HTML/CSS/jQuery
  • Develop site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists; designing images, icons, banners, etc.
  • Understand the integration with server side programming
  • Code from PSD to HTML for e-newsletters
  • Prepare site by installing and configuring server software; installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links.
  • Establish locatability by registering with search engines.
  • Upgrade site by updating contentand graphics; monitoring performance and  results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links.
