As a Graphic/Web Designer, you must have these skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or other designing software.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS framework eg: Bootstraps, etc and standards of web development.
  • Creative, hard working and adaptive to work within tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Experience in designing interface for dynamic/e-commerce/content-management-systems preferred

Job Description

  • Plan concept by studying information and materials
  • Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Design website/web-application interface
  • Design logo, newspaper ad and print materials such as brochures, pamphlets, catalogs etc.
  • Design periodic e-newsletter
  • Code from PSD to HTML/CSS/jQuery
  • Develop site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists, designing images, icons, banners, etc.
  • Understand the integration with server side programming
  • Code from PSD to HTML for e-newsletters
  • Prepare site by installing and configuring server software, installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools, ensuring cross-platform compatibility, establishing links
  • Establish locatability by registering with search engines
  • Upgrade site by updating content and graphics, monitoring performance and  results, identifying and evaluating improvement options, introducing new technology, maintaining links
