Reports To:
Web Application Development Manager 

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Participation in project requirement documentation and web application feature design
• Per assigned project requirements:
    -Implementation and testing of new web applications
    -Augmentation of existing web applications with new features and capabilities
    -Defect corrections and general UX improvements
• Design and implementation of testing suites for applications
• Secure coding best practices
• Performant coding best practices
• Participation in application documentation and training
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

 Skills 

• Proficiency with the following:
         i. Front-end technologies:
             -JavaScript
             -CSS and Bootstrap
             -HTML 5

                  ii. Frameworks:
                       -Spring
                       -AngularJS
                       -jQuery

                  iii. Backend Technologies:
                       -Java
                       -Preprocessing Templates (e.g. JSP or Velocity)
                       -Relational SQL Database (MySQL preferred)

                   iv. Unix-like operating systems
                    v. Windows operating systems
                   vi. Web application security
                          -Best practices
                          -OWASP Top 10
                    vii. Git version control

Risk Designation 

Role: Web Application Developer (webappdev) 

This role is classified as High Risk, due to access to Protected Healthcare Information. Employees in this role must be free of felony convictions on a background check report.
