Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Waiter Captain to join our team. As a Waiter Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the service staff, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the restaurant or dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests as they arrive and ensure they are seated promptly.
Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations when necessary.
Lead and guide the waitstaff, ensuring they follow service standards and provide excellent customer service.
Assign tasks and duties to waitstaff, ensuring that all areas of the dining room are covered efficiently.
Oversee the timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, ensuring that orders are correct and served promptly.
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared accurately and meet guest expectations.
Assist in training new waitstaff and ensure they are familiar with the restaurant's procedures and service standards.
Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to improve service quality and team performance.
Ensure that all necessary supplies (such as cutlery, napkins, glassware, etc.) are available and properly stocked.
Report any inventory shortages or equipment issues to the Restaurant Manager.
