Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Waiter Captain to join our team. As a Waiter Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the service staff, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the restaurant or dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests as they arrive and ensure they are seated promptly.
  • Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Lead and guide the waitstaff, ensuring they follow service standards and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assign tasks and duties to waitstaff, ensuring that all areas of the dining room are covered efficiently.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, ensuring that orders are correct and served promptly.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are prepared accurately and meet guest expectations.
  • Assist in training new waitstaff and ensure they are familiar with the restaurant's procedures and service standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to improve service quality and team performance.
  • Ensure that all necessary supplies (such as cutlery, napkins, glassware, etc.) are available and properly stocked.
  • Report any inventory shortages or equipment issues to the Restaurant Manager.
