Location: Dhading

About this Role:

We are looking for the position of Volunteer, who is highly motivated and committed to work in rural communities of Dhading district together with following criteria

  • Age between 18 - 25
  • Minimum of 10+2 education with fluency in English
  • For this program, you must be flexible, adaptable and enjoy working with others, willingness to take challenges and have an openness to experiencing new cultures and experiences
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Be passionate to stay in a rural community in full cycle of the programme

Responsibilities:

  • Volunteers will act as good role model for the local youths and communities. Volunteers have to work with school teachers and students, community youth, and government officials
  • This is a pure volunteer service and not a job. You can learn and gain practical skills and hands-on work experience of working in the development sector. Volunteers will be provided basic food and accommodation (in a host family in the community) with nominal allowance during the placement period.
