Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our dynamic team and contribute to the creation of engaging and compelling video content. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing short form and long form video content, transforming podcasts into shorter formats, editing YouTube videos, and undertaking various other editing tasks.

Experience with creating 'Hormozi Style' content will be highly advantageous along with editing ad videos for Social Media and podcasts.

Responsibilities:

• Edit short form video content: Collaborate with the creative team to edit and enhance short videos, ensuring they align with the desired style and message.

• Edit long form video content: Edit longer videos such as documentaries, webinars, or presentations, maintaining a cohesive flow and capturing the essence of the content.

• Transform long podcasts into short form: Skillfully extract key segments from lengthy podcasts and repackage them into shorter, attention-grabbing clips that maintain their original intent.

• Edit YouTube videos: Work closely with content creators to edit and optimize videos for YouTube, incorporating engaging visuals, sound effects, transitions, and subtitles as needed.

• Enhance video content: Utilize your creativity and technical expertise to enhance video quality, adjust lighting and color grading, apply special effects, and optimize audio levels.

• Collaborate with the team: Communicate effectively with the creative team, content creators, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide input, and ensure a smooth workflow.

• Maintain organized file management: Organize and manage video files, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly labeled for efficient retrieval.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously research and explore the latest video editing techniques, software, and trends to enhance your skills and contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements:

• Proven experience: Demonstrated experience as a Video Editor, showcasing a portfolio of high-quality work across various video formats.
• Proficient in editing software: Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  
• Technical skills: Strong command of video editing techniques, including video and audio synchronisation, colour correction, visual effects, and motion graphics.
  
• Creativity: Ability to think creatively and visually to bring out the best in raw footage, incorporating engaging visual elements to enhance storytelling.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to editing, ensuring accuracy, smooth transitions, consistent pacing, and polished final products.
• Time management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and understand project requirements.
  
• Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to evolving needs and feedback, embracing a flexible approach to accommodate different video styles and formats.

Salary

Negotiable, it will be anywhere from NRs 20,000 to 30,000 depending on experience. We also have bonuses and incentives to reward fast and quality work with yearly reviews.
