Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a versatile Web/UI/UX Frontend Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our digital products, from conducting user research and sketching wireframes to building out responsive, high-performance frontend interfaces.

The ideal candidate doesn't just make things "look pretty"; they solve complex problems through intuitive design and clean, semantic code.

Key Responsibilities:

User Research & Strategy: Conduct user interviews, competitive analysis, and persona building to inform design decisions.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to visualize the user journey.
Visual Design: Develop consistent UI kits, design systems, and layouts that align with brand identity.
Frontend Development: Translate static designs into clean, semantic, and responsive code (HTML/CSS/JS).
Testing & Iteration: Perform usability testing and use data-driven insights to refine the user experience.

Technical Requirements

Design Mastery

Expertise in Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Design Systems: Experience building and maintaining scalable component libraries.
Principles: Strong grasp of typography, color theory, grid systems, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1) standards.

Frontend Development

HTML5 & CSS3: Mastery of modern CSS techniques (Flexbox, CSS Grid, Animations).
CSS Preprocessors: Experience with Sass or Less.
Frameworks: Proficiency with utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS or component libraries like Bootstrap.
JavaScript: Solid understanding of vanilla JavaScript; experience with frameworks like React, Vue, or Next.js is a significant plus.
Version Control: Familiarity with Git/GitHub for collaborating with engineering teams.

Professional & Soft Skills

Communication: The ability to explain the "why" behind a design choice to stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: A mindset focused on reducing friction and simplifying complex user flows.
Empathy: A deep-seated desire to understand the end-user's pain points.
