About the job

The role of Travel Designer is a critical one. Be it assisting a prospective client learn about a trip, recommending a return guest plan their next holiday, or be it helping a booked guest prepare for the trip of a lifetime, our Travel Specialists are the primary point of contacts guests will have for all pre and post – travel related assistance. As such, the ideal candidate must have an excellent communication and customer service skills with a passion for the travel industry. 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner through various channels including phone and email. 
  •  Curate personalized and unique itineraries based on client’s interest and requirement. And offer recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Assist clients in making travel arrangements such as hotel, land transfers, international & domestic flights, special experiences etc. 
  • Provide accurate and timely information to clients re travel details like itineraries, visa requirements and other travel updates as and when required. 
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, travel advisories and new travel products. 
  • Track sales, prepare reports and share with the management. 
  • Undertake the responsibility of handling social media platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Travel & Tourism (BTTM) or related field.
  • A minimum of 3+ years experience in customer service in travel trade or hospitality industry (preference will be given to those with good geographical knowledge). 
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English language.
  • Energetic, Positive with strong interpersonal & time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail & creative skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills as well as confident to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships. 
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office and other basic IT tools. 
  • Owning a wheeler with valid license is highly desirable.
