Job Description

We are seeking a qualified female candidate to fill the role of Travel Correspondent at our reputable organization. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in the travel and trekking sector, with a proven ability to manage front desk operations while excelling in client interaction, itinerary management, and marketing in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and provide support to colleagues as needed.
  • Develop and customize travel itineraries and packages for trekking, tours, peak climbing, and expeditions.
  • Independently handle booking processes, including ticket reservations and issuance, ensuring attention to detail.
  • Liaise proficiently with airlines, hotels, and transport providers to secure bookings and uphold service excellence.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on travel options, itinerary planning, and visa requirements.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of targeted marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to drive sales initiatives and achieve predefined targets.
  • Conduct thorough market research to discern industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze client feedback and market insights to refine service offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and client interactions, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for managerial review, highlighting key performance metrics and strategic recommendations.
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum one year in the travel and trekking sector
  • Proven track record of at least one year in the travel and trekking sector, demonstrating proficiency in client service and operational management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing tools/software.
  • Innovative thinking and a proactive approach to contribute effectively to marketing initiatives.
  • Sound understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing methodologies.
  • Strong organizational aptitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage workload pressures while maintaining a high-performance standard.
