Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Travel Consultants to join our ticketing and travel operations team. The role involves handling airline reservations, customer inquiries, itinerary planning, and ticket issuance using global distribution systems.

This position requires strong ticketing knowledge, customer handling skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced travel and aviation environment. Candidates who are flexible for Night Shift will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle telephone calls, emails, and walk-in customer inquiries professionally.
Deal with customers, business houses, airlines, and travel agents.
Manage reservations for flights, hotels, and car rentals.
Search and provide best available fares and prepare complete travel itineraries.
Issue and sell air tickets using Galileo (Normal Shift) or Amadeus (Night Shift).
Collect payments from customers and ensure proper banking deposits.
Maintain accurate booking records and documentation.
Provide timely customer support for itinerary changes, cancellations, and rebooking requests.
Ensure smooth coordination with airlines and travel partners for booking confirmation and issue resolution.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:Less than 1 year

Other Specification

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Intermediate level (+2) or equivalent education completed.
Minimum 6 months experience in travel/ticketing or related field.
Strong knowledge of Galileo (Normal Shift) and/or Amadeus (Night Shift preferred).
Good understanding of airline reservation systems and fare rules.
Proficiency in MS Office, email handling, and basic computer applications.
Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
Candidates with hands-on experience in GDS systems will be given priority.

Shift Details:

Normal Shift: Galileo system operations
Night Shift (Preferred): Amadeus system operations
Priority will be given to candidates willing to work Night Shift with strong Amadeus knowledge

Note: Salary is negotiable for the deserving candidate based on their qualification and skills.
