Roles and Responsibilities :
The role is varied and may include many different types of work. Key areas include marketing, visitor management and the development of tourism products, services and facilities.

Key Responsibility:

• Being actively involved in meetings, such as marketing, Social Media and Finance, pro-actively contributing initiatives and progressing actions
  
• Manage staff, budgets and staff training needs as well as maintaining statistical financial records 
  
• Develop E- tourism platforms, including websites, and construct business databases
  
• Developing and carrying out a strategy to generate income 
  
• Works with an outside travel agency to make a travel arrangement
  
• Handle all necessary arrangements needed when a company representative needs to travel 
  
• Promoting and marketing the business, sometimes to new markets
  
• Selling travel products and tour packages
  
• Taking part in familiarization visits to new destinations to gather information on issues and amenities of interest to consumer 
  
• Liaising with travel partners, including airlines and hotels, to manage booking and schedule in advance
  
• Sourcing products and destinations to meet consumer demands for bespoke travel and sustainable tourism 
  
• Dealing with customer inquiries and aiming to meet their expectations 
  
• Constantly motivating the sales team to hit their targets and ensure company profitability
  
• Meeting regularly with team leaders to give them sales figures and plan how they approach their work
  
• Dealing with disciplinary matters and customer complaints
