Job Description

1. SALES & DISTRIBUTION MANAGEMENT

Achieve monthly and yearly targets on sales, distribution, consumer and trade marketing activation. Work closely with NSM in executing sales plans and ensure concise communications on the business objectives amid all stakeholders. Ensure competitive edge for JTI brands in the trade in terms of brand visibility and exposure.

2. TERRITORY PLANNING & MANAGEMENT

Support in developing Sales and Distribution strategies of the assigned territories. Ensure excellence in execution of the trade programs to achieve territory objectives. Maximize the return on resources and adapt to changing operating environment (increasing restrictions).

3. TEAM DEVELOPMENT AND PERFORMANCE

Set individual objectives for each Sales Rep in the team, set development goals while continuously monitor performance progression. Ensure achievement of team KPIs on volume, distribution and trade program implementation. Manage a highly motivated sales team through regular trade audit and field coaching of Sales Reps. Build a strong collaborative working relationship among sales team and FME in his/her assigned territory.

4. SUB-DISTRIBUTOR MANAGEMNET

Responsible to propose and manage Sub-D primary sales to achieve 2 weeks inventory. Monitor and confirm Sub-D claims based on submitted documents. Ensure Sub-D payment to CG is in line with agreed credit terms. Conducts regular meeting updates with Sub-D on programs and plans. Controls Credit Sales in the market and seek alignment with Sub-D on outlets with credit.

5. ANALYSIS & PROBLEM SOLVING:

Demonstrate the ability for recognizing and defining a problem, identifying possible reasons for the discrepancy, forming hypotheses, devising and implementing a plan of action to resolve it, participating in consensus building, evaluating and monitoring the progress, and revising plans as revealed by findings in order to find appropriate solutions.

6. FIELD INTELLIGENCE AND DATA GATHERING (TME)

Responsible for monitoring and capturing key market data (industry offtake, distribution, POSM, Merchandising, OOS check).

7. PROCESSES & POLICES

Enforce the strict compliance of Sales Team on established processes and internal control to drive the business:

  • Credit Policy
  • Display Fee Management
  • Market Returns policy
  • HR Policies

Responsible for execution, monitoring and evaluation of consumer and trade marketing programs.
Ensures Sub-D compliance on established CG claim process.
