Main Responsibilities:

  • Nutrition assessment and enrolment of eligible children in the research 
  • Coordination and communication with project staff, health workers, female community volunteers and other stakeholders
  • Qualitative and quantitative data collection 
  • Ensure safety and maintenance of all provided equipment and data collection aids
  • Recording, documentation and reporting 
  • Represent Action Against Hunger programme in nutrition and health related meetings, forums etc

Qualification and Required Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, nutrition, development studies, nutrition and dietetics, social science or relevant discipline with at least two years of experience in nutrition specific programme/projects preferably in International/NGO or UN agency
  • Significant experiences in Community/Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (C/IMAM) and/Nutrition in Emergency (NiE) is mandatory
  • Experience in nutrition researches and/or nutrition assessments will be an asset
  • Experience in using mobile data collection (ODK, KoBo or any similar applications) will have added value
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Package)
  • Good interpersonal, networking, negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in diverse environment with short deadlines and intense pressure
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Willing to travel extensively
  • Possess valid license of two wheeler will be an added advantage
