About the Role:

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience working with US Healthcare data. Being on the Delivery team, you will bring value directly to the clients by designing data models that will be accessible by them via a consumption layer. This role focuses on understanding client’s needs, designing data models, and documenting technical requirements that will be leveraged by downstream teams.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Work closely with Client Solutions Analysts and Clients to write technical requirements. 
• Develop technical mapping document that shows how data flows within company medallion architecture and into the distribution layer. 
• Analyze data/reports to validate quality of information, identify trends, highlight patterns, define inconsistencies and summarize/present findings and results. 
• Participate in planning and requirements gathering and clarification sessions with customers. 
• Deep dive into the data with SQL and drive value by understanding healthcare data. 
• Participate in consulting engagements with our clients. These engagements generally revolve around improving the operational performance as it relates to their current platforms and identifying areas where company may be able to develop complementary solutions. 
• Conducting process analysis, process evaluation and implement process improvements. 
• Communicate and translate concepts to both business and technical personnel. 
• Assists as needed with QA and application support for hosted clients and product team. 

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, Computer Science or other equivalent work experience or training. 
• Must have experience with healthcare data – member enrollment, claims, labs, patient data, providers, etc. 
• 3+ years of experience and background in data analytics and SQL. 
• Experience in designing data models. 
• Familiarity with Cloud Services like AWS, Azure and other technologies/tools like json, ETL tools, data mappings, data profiling, SQL, data pipelines, python – is a plus.
