Wendy House School is seeking dedicated and passionate educators to join our team as Teachers. The ideal candidates will be committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, fostering their intellectual, social, and emotional development. As a Teacher at Wendy House School, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds, promoting a love for learning, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom culture.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation.
Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding of the curriculum.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying learning styles and abilities.
Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Stay current on educational trends, teaching methodologies, and best practices.
Contribute to the school community by actively participating in and, when possible, leading extracurricular activities, clubs, or events.
Create a safe, stimulating, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
Teaching certification/license.
Previous experience in a similar teaching role is preferred.
Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and the classroom as a whole.
