Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher to foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The role also involves regular collaboration with parents and staff to support each child’s overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment for young learners.
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support early childhood development.
Guide and support children in social, cognitive, and physical development through structured play and learning.
Communicate with parents and guardians about children's progress and development.
Ensure the classroom is well-organised, clean, and equipped with necessary materials.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons to promote holistic development, including activities that enhance literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social skills.
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
Develop an age-appropriate curriculum based on educational standards and learning objectives.
Assess student progress through observation, informal assessments, and formal evaluations, providing timely feedback to students and parents.

Note: The candidate should possess qualifications as a pre-primary teachers, with a preference for those willing to assume responsibilities as a playgroup teacher as well.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Less than 1 year

Other Specification

Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best teaching practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creativity, patience, and passion for working with young children.
Preference will be given to candidates also prepared to take on Playgroup Teacher responsibilities.

Salary: No bar in salary for deserving candidates (competitive and negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
