Roles of the Teacher-Music*

Plan and prepare lessons in relation to individual students' needs.
Teach music theory, aural skills and practical techniques.
Acquire appropriate teaching materials and resources.
Motivate pupils and encourage progress.
Create and maintain a network of contacts to ensure work continuity
Evaluate each student’s growth in musical skills, knowledge and contribution in team by giving regular feedback.
Maintain control of storage and use of school-owned property.
Contribute to the extra-curricular activities and programs of the school.
Maintain good relationship with the ECA Team and work collaboratively.
