SAMSHER® TEA is Nepal's oldest privately held tea producer and the pioneer of tea production in Nepal. As a family-owned and managed company, we take pride in producing premium CTC and Orthodox teas. Our products are exported to countries such as Russia, Pakistan, UAE, Iran, Chins, and the CIS. With three tea plantations and two processing plants, we have an annual capacity of 1 million kg of CTC tea, 0.7 million kg of low-grown Orthodox tea, and 0.3 million kg of high-grown Orthodox tea.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Tea Production Manager at SAMSHER® TEA in Birtamod, Jhapa, Nepal. The Tea Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day tea production operations (orthodox, CTC) ensuring quality standards are met, managing blending and packing activities, coordinating with our tea estates. The role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of Orthodox and CTC tea production techniques.

Qualifications

• Experience in tea production management
• Knowledge of both CTC and Orthodox tea production processes (atleast 10 years)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in quality control and assurance
• Knowledge of food safety management, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
