Job Description

About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Alaya, you’ll play a key role in building high-performing teams across Nepal and Sydney. You’ll manage the full recruitment cycle, partner with hiring managers, and ensure every candidate has a seamless and positive experience. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about people, culture, and making an impact through talent.

What You'll Do:

  • Workforce Planning: Support hiring managers, update PDs, and role specs.
  • Talent Attraction & Branding: Post vacancies, run referral campaigns, and represent Alaya at fairs/events.
  • Sourcing & Pipeline: Proactively source candidates and build strong talent pools.
  • Recruitment & Assessment: Manage end-to-end recruitment, coordinate interviews and assessments.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a smooth, transparent, and engaging candidate journey.
  • Offer & Onboarding: Prepare offers, contracts, and support onboarding activities.
  • Operations & Analytics: Maintain data, track metrics, and provide insights to improve hiring

Who You Are:

Education: Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor’s with strong experience may be considered).
Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition; exposure to IT, finance, or mortgage roles is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Independent, proactive, and results-driven with a growth mindset.
  • Comfortable using ATS, Gmail, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Data-driven with the ability to track and interpret recruitment metrics.
