Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) is a Payment System Operator licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank and promoted by NRB and almost all the banks & financial institutions to establish and operate national payment systems in Nepal. It is currently operating Electronic Cheque Clearing (NCHL-ECC), Interbank Payment System (NCHL-IPS), Retail Payment Switch (RPS) and National Payment Switch (NPS) with processing of over 90% of retail transactions in terms of value within Nepal. Additional channel platforms that NCHL is providing includes connectIPS, National Payments Interface (NPI), CORPORATEPAY, connectRTGS and NEPALPAYQR. NCHL is expanding its team to drive its existing systems, businesses and operations including National Payment Switch (NPS). Job Description

System Analyst is an entry level role and is expected to provide support to the end users of our members. He/ She shall perform day to day activities to operate various systems, support end users and participate in new system implementations.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Provides first line of Help desk support to the users of the member institutions.
  • Develops and maintains helpdesk system to keep record of all the issues/queries reported by the users.
  • Assists new members in setup/configuration and provides trainings to the end users.
  • Administrators and monitor various infrastructure, operational systems and network connectivity.
  • Perform beginning of day, end of day, monitoring activities and backups of various systems.
  • Designs and develops internal software applications. Analyze and test various applications.
  • Participates in new implementation projects.

Job Specification:

  • At least 1 year of experience in technology design, development, implementation, and/or operations. Experience in supporting users of critical systems will be an advantage.
  • Outstanding fresh graduate with good knowledge of major computer languages, databases, OS, Network technologies can also apply.
  • Good knowledge of C, C++, JAVA, .Net, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, PHP, Web Services, ASP, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, Unix, Windows, etc.
  • Understanding of document management system, workflow management system, data warehouse, digital certificate highly preferred.
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
  • Experienced at working independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
