Other Specification
  • Should be able to configure, tune and optimize different open source packages for services like Webserver, Mail, DNS, RADIUS, VPN, WHM, Database, Cluster components, LDAP, etc.
  • Should be able to Work with the Systems and Development Team in developing System Administration Policies, Web application deployment.
  • Should have good knowledge of System Security, Backup and Replication, Load balancing and server clustering technologies.
  • Working knowledge of virtualization technologies like Fault Tolerance and High Availability with DRS, SNMP monitoring and graphing systems e.g. Nagios, Cacti, OpenNMS etc.
  • Strong command in shell scripting e.g. Bash, Python, Perl, PHP/MySQL with certification of RHCE adds competitive advantage.   

Job Description

  • Research, Development and Implement new services, applications and technology.
  • Manage Linux based servers and storage running 
  • Manage Applications such as Web, Email, DNS, LDAP and Database services.
  • Perform security audits and manage server security.
  • Proactively monitor the server infrastructure and reach to any problem detected round the clock.
  • Reporting and Documentation.
