Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Supervisor – Micro Finance Program will oversee field operations, client group management, loan processes, and overall program performance. The role ensures smooth implementation of microfinance activities and quality service delivery to members.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and monitor microfinance field activities and staff.
Manage client groups, center meetings, and member orientation.
Oversee loan processing, disbursement, and recovery follow-ups.
Maintain accurate records of savings, loans, and installments.
Conduct field visits, monitor portfolio quality, and reduce overdue cases.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.
Ensure compliance with cooperative policies and microfinance standards.
Build positive relationships with members and communities.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Higher Secondary (+2/A Levels/IB)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Required Age:Less than 35 years

Other Specification

Minimum education: +2 (Intermediate level) in any discipline.
At least 1 year of work experience in a microfinance or financial institution (mandatory).
Knowledge of financial documentation and cooperative practices preferred.
Knowledge of microfinance loan processes and member groups.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, email operation).
Minimum 18 years and not exceeding 35 years.

Salary & Benefits:

Monthly Salary: NPR 22,000/-
Social Security Fund (SSF) coverage as per organizational rules.
Additional benefits as per cooperative policies.
