Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Senior Credit Analysts / Credit Analysts to support our Australian mortgage operations. The role involves conducting financial assessments, analysing client documents, and recommending suitable lending strategies. You will work closely with brokers and clients to deliver high-quality, compliant mortgage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyse financial documents such as payslips, tax returns, bank statements, and financial statements.
Assess borrowing capacity using lender calculators and financial assessment tools.
Recommend appropriate loan structures and lending strategies aligned with client objectives.
Liaise with brokers and clients to clarify requirements and provide credit insights.
Order and review property valuations, ensuring compliance with lender guidelines.
Ensure all applications comply with lender policies and NCCP responsible lending requirements.
Conduct post-settlement reviews and identify refinance or cross-selling opportunities.
Maintain accurate documentation and records within CRM systems.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Professional Certification

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

CA / ACCA affiliate or semi-qualified finance professional preferred
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Australian mortgage broking or financial services
Strong understanding of financial statements, lending structures, and cash flow analysis
Experience with mortgage CRM platforms such as Mercury, Salestrekker, or similar systems
Knowledge of Australian lending policies and compliance requirements (NCCP) is highly desirable

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
Strong financial analysis and cash flow assessment skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced financial services environment
