The role involves supporting the Plant Incharge, Assistant Plant Incharge, and Supervisors in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of the plant's electromechanical machinery and equipment. This includes monitoring and maintaining turbines, generators, transformers, control panels, valves, circuit breakers, and other machinery.
The role requires adherence to rotational shift duties in accordance with company policies and plan made by Incharge, procedures, and instructions.
Identifying malfunctions in machinery and equipment and reporting such issues to the Plant In[1]charge/Engineer is important, while also taking necessary measures to resolve the problem safely and consistently.
The position requires assisting in the regular production of reports as assigned.
The job requires utilizing technical drawings, specifications, records, and written/verbal instructions for technical problem-solving.
The role involves assisting in the requisitioning of spares, components, and other necessary supplies.
Building good relationships with company staff, consultants, contractors, authorized personnel, and the local community is essential.
