Store Manager

The Store Manager will be responsible for supervising daily store operations, ensuring timely receiving and issuing of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records (both physical and system), handling GRNs, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and documentation practices. The role requires strong inventory management skills, accuracy, and adherence to company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily store operations and maintain store discipline
• Handle GRN (Goods Received Note), verify material quality and quantity, and clear entries in the system
• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory records, including daily stock updates
• Conduct routine stock reconciliation and report any discrepancies
• Handle site mesh and materials, monitor mesh usage, and manage expenses within approved budget
• Manage petty cash, maintain transparent expense records, and submit proper documentation
• Prepare material requisitions as per site needs and coordinate with procurement for timely supply
• Receive purchase orders from procurement, verify materials, and ensure proper documentation
• Monitor stock levels and assist in forecasting material requirements
• Implement and maintain proper storage practices including expiry management (FIFO (First-In, First-out)/FEFO (First Expired, First-Out))
• Ensure strict control to prevent material losses, misplacement, or misuse during site inspections
• Frequently warn supervisors and site staff regarding improper material usage or carelessness
• Enforce strict discipline while issuing safety items, PPE, and machinery tools to workers
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and documentation standards
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment
• Assist during internal/external audits with all required reports and documents
