Job Description

Maintain accurate records of all construction materials and equipment in the site's inventory.
Receive and inspect incoming construction materials and equipment.
Identify and report damaged, defective, or incorrect items to the procurement or construction management team.
Properly store construction materials and equipment to prevent damage, spoilage, or theft.
Implement appropriate inventory rotation methods, such as first-in, first-out (FIFO), as needed.
Process requests for materials and equipment from various construction teams or departments.
Prepare items for distribution, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and labeling.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
Generate regular reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends for construction management.
Monitor construction materials and equipment levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
Keep construction management informed of any potential supply issues that could impact the project's progress.
Ensure that construction materials meet quality and safety standards.
Report any quality issues to supervisors, quality control personnel, or procurement.
Implement security measures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access to the storage area.
Collaborate with various construction teams and departments to understand their inventory needs and priorities.
