Job Description

  • To oversee, manage and support the overall functions of Procurement, Inventory, Store and sale of finished products, i.e. Excise related jobs.
  • Maintain inventory control within the store to ensure adequate stock levels and to minimize waste and pilferage, establish and monitor store security policies and procedures and assists in management of all areas of store operations as needed.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the vendors/parties and reviews contracts for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the ‘Sales & Distribution department’ regarding the movement of stock and supplies of finished goods.
  • Keep track of market information and explore opportunities with regards to new/alternative suppliers (local), their quotations, price trends, various grades or quality of materials/supplies, and their terms of service.
  • Regular physical verification of stocks/ raw materials.
  • Calculate with all the details and build up stock by assessing and keeping track of the political situation of the country (i.e., bandhs, chakka jam, Terai bandh, Bhansar bandh etc.) and trends of international market as well.
  • Taking all necessary actions to protect and safeguard the store and its stocks/inventory.
