Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with experience in Ruby on Rails to join our team. As you mentor and guide a team of developers, you will play a key role in developing and delivering excellent software solutions. Your expertise will drive the development of secure, efficient, and scalable web applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. In close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, a technical leader will enhance system performance, streamline processes, and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and guide team members on technical implementation and best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure Ruby on Rails applications.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement deployment standards for cloud-based environments.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate timelines, and support project planning activities.
• Integrate seamlessly with third-party platforms and services to enhance functionality by incorporating external content, data, and services.
• Identify system performance bottlenecks and recommend innovative solutions for optimization.
• Develop and enhance interactive, user-friendly web applications using Ruby on Rails, ReactJs, PostgreSQL
• Ensure the technological stack remains up-to-date with the latest tools, frameworks, and practices.
• Monitor and resolve production issues to maintain application reliability and performance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring role within development teams.
• Strong expertise in developing and supporting RESTful APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with caching strategies and materialized views.
• Familiarity with integrating third-party systems, including CRM platforms, through APIs.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like ReactJs and modern web development practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in team environments.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting.

Work Model:

• Hybrid and flexible work arrangements.
• Intermittent availability during early PST hours in the USA, until noon
