We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage diverse projects that focus on the design and development of digital and spatial solutions for societal challenges. In this role, you will manage the entire project lifecycle, from contract signing to handover, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage project activities from contract signing to deployment and final handover, ensuring top-quality performance and client satisfaction.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Lead and facilitate project kickoff meetings and internal project induction meetings to align teams on scope and expectations.
  • Prepare detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) to guide the development process.
  • Document key project milestones and develop comprehensive implementation plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, product, and UX leads, to clarify requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Use Agile or Waterfall methodologies to develop and execute project plans.
  • Regularly update internal teams and clients on project status, progress, risks, and potential roadblocks.
  • Drive resource allocation and capacity planning to optimize team performance.
  • Ensure project documents, resources, and other assets are properly stored and maintained using the company's digital systems.
  • Contribute to capacity-building sessions for mid-level project managers.
  • Assist the board in creating project management standards and ensure they are implemented across multiple projects. 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology Management, Geomatics, Geography, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in managing technology projects, with a proven ability to lead engineering teams and deliver complex software solutions.
  • Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, ClickUp, GitHub).
  • Certification in Scrum or other software development methodologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations.
  • Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is a plus.
