Education Level : Under Graduate (Bachelor)
Experience Required : More than or equal to 3 years
Other Specification
  • Must be Graduate with MCSE/MCSA & CCNA Certifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in it infrastructure management,networking (LAN/WAN/VPN) and applications including finance and media
  • Should be well versed with HP and Dell Servers Operations and Configurations including CISCO routers, Switches and Access Point and its operations
  • Sound knowledge in SQL Server Relational Data Base Management System
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and SharePoint
  • Basic Network troubleshooting as well component-level trouble shooting knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of Backup Systems using different back-up media and applications is essential. E.g. Symantec Backup Exec.
  • Sound knowledge of different Server Operating systems: e.g. Windows server 2003, 2008, 2012 or later 
  • Knowledge of Macintosh based platforms will be advantageous

Job Description

  • Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future
  • Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use
  • Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records
  • Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement
  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components
  • Gather data pertaining to user needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements
  • Co-ordinate on a day-to-day basis with the JWT Regional IT Hub
  • Perform daily back-ups and indexing of records
  • Maintain full inventory of IT assets
  • Ensure that the unauthorized software is not used in the organization and keep abreast of the latest developments in IT and its deployment
  • Ensuring total compliance of the Company’s global IT policies will be mandatory
