Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with some Project Management experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing business needs, developing strategies, and managing projects to ensure the successful execution of business initiatives. This role requires a unique blend of analytical skills, project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough business analysis to understand organizational needs, identify problems, and propose effective solutions.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.
  • Develop and maintain detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making processes.

Project Management:

  • Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and senior management.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings and presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize business operations.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of process changes and identify areas for further improvement.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant team members.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) and/or Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, with some experience in project management.
  • Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, and managing small to medium-sized projects.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, ZOHO).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
