Job Overview: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to enhance our dynamic team as a Cloud Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate is someone who has a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience and a strong foundation in AWS services and cloud solutions with a history of employment in the technology sector and international exposure. They will utilize their expertise to craft resilient and scalable cloud architectures, ensuring adherence to industry best practices for security, resiliency, and operational excellence. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate them into innovative and scalable cloud solutions. 
• Design and architect end-to-end solutions on the cloud platform, ensuring alignment with overarching business strategies and goals. 
• Lead the design and implementation of robust cloud infrastructure, leveraging AWS services to create scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems. 
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cloud technology and integrate emerging best practices into the design and implementation processes. 
• Drive the seamless integration of AWS services with client systems, promoting interoperability and ensuring a cohesive and optimized cloud ecosystem. 
• Implement and advocate for best practices in security, resiliency, and operational excellence throughout the entire cloud infrastructure. 
• Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and development teams, to understand business requirements and objectives. 
• Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project needs and expectations. 
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 
• Mentor team members, sharing your expertise and ensuring the successful execution of cloud solutions. 
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies within the Cloud ecosystem. 
• Conduct regular assessments of the technological landscape to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.

Job Skills/Competencies

• Showcase a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position as an Engineering Manager/Technical Lead/Solution Architect, illustrating a comprehensive knowledge of Java, Python, ReactJS, associated technologies, and databases. 
• Demonstrate a strong foundation with practical expertise in AWS/Azure environments and possess experience in a global setting. 
• At least 7-10 years of professional experience as a Solutions Architect, Engineering Manager, Application Architect, or Technical Lead position in designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and robust systems 
• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field. 
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of various AWS services and solutions through the successful completion of multiple cloud infrastructure design and implementation projects. 
• Has hands-on experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies. 
• Possesses knowledge of cloud infrastructure and application design patterns, along with a commitment to applying best practices for security, resiliency, and operational excellence. 
• Exhibits strong leadership skills, providing technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. 
• Collaborates effectively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. 
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clear and effective communication with team members, clients, and other stakeholders. 
• Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies within the Cloud ecosystem, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 

Nice to Have: 

• Professional certification in AWS (e.g., Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Associate, or any specialty) is advantageous. 
• Background in software development, system administration, database, or DevOps. 
• Understanding of complementary cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud Platform). 
• Familiarity with modern software development practices such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and CI/CD.
