What you'll do:

• Build large scale crawlers that have the ability to crawl through millions of pages
• Manage and refine existing crawlers using PHP and other means such as scrapy, selenium, phantonjs et cetera
• Contribute to the development of the in-house crawling framework
• Work as a part of the team to in planning, designing and the development of the product, improvements, and the new features
• Be a part of something big and push the cutting edge tools even further
• Communicate with the client through e-mail to understand requirements and discuss possible solutions

About you

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent preferred, but we value expertise over a degree
• Three years of experience in PHP
• Extensive knowledge of HTTP, GET, POST, HTTP Headers
• Experienced with the integration of third-party APIs and web services
• Proficient regular expressions, XPath and CSS selectors
• Strong command in character encodings, database (SQL & NoSQL), jQuery and other javascript frameworks is a plus
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills, a collaborator who shares knowledge with the peers
• Three years of experience in PHP

• Must be curious like a cat and creative like a child
