Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Pre-Sales Engineer / Technical Support Officer to support our sales team by providing technical expertise, solution design, product demonstrations, and post-sales technical assistance. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of networking, communication systems, and IT infrastructure, along with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team during client meetings and presentations.
Prepare technical proposals, specifications, solution designs, and compliance documents.
Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to develop customized solutions.
Assist in preparing technical documentation, BOQs, and project-related reports.
Provide technical support during product installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
Troubleshoot basic hardware, networking, and system-related issues.
Support customers with technical queries and ensure timely issue resolution.
Stay updated on new technologies, products, and industry trends.
Assist with training customers and internal teams on products and solutions.
Perform other technical and project-related duties assigned by management.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Communication, Electrical Engineering, Networking, or a related technical field.
Candidates with strong practical technical knowledge may be considered even if their degree is not yet completed.
Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, IP addressing, and communication systems is mandatory.

Experience : 1–3 years of experience in:

Technical Support
Pre-Sales Engineering
Audio Visual (AV) Systems
Networking
Communication Systems
System Installation & Configuration
IT Infrastructure
Or other related technical fields

Required Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of networking fundamentals, switches, routers, TCP/IP, and IP addressing.
Knowledge of AV systems, communication technologies, CCTV, structured cabling, or related solutions will be an advantage.
Ability to prepare technical proposals, solution documents, and presentations.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and professional manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic technical documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
