Job Description
DevOps/Build and Release Engineer or NoSQL DBA with maturity to help, define and automate the processes; Automated implementation/deployment of code in the cloud-based infrastructure (AWS Preferred).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field required.
- Knowledge of Linux Administration, Linux command line interface, Windows Administration, and IIS Management. Deep understanding of IIS concepts and settings. Extensive experience with Linux tools and shell scripts.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – EC2, S3, ALB, Target Groups and Systems Manager, CloudFormation (Infrastructure as code) etc., should be able to “jump” right into our infrastructure
- Experience with building and supporting Docker and Kubernetes in production environment
- Experience with Bash, Powershell, XML, Web concepts such as REST APIs and SPA, HTTP Get and Post, ability to code in Python or other programming language
- Knowledge of Development tools and methodologies, Version Control – Git, CI/CD (Bamboo or similar)
- Some experience with NoSQL databases such as ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Solr, Redis, MongoDB, etc. as well as Postgres or MS SQL Server is a plus.
- Must have passion for technology, be eager to learn and focused on automation.
