Software Engineer - Backend

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in Laravel and PHP to join our dynamic development team in Nepal. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in JavaScript, PHP, database management, and AWS services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel.
Responsive and adaptive web page implementation.
Identify and communicate best practices for back-end and front-end engineering.
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Efficiently mentor a team of engineers.
Manage software development lifecycle as per the requirements
Managing Team, communicating with the stakeholders to understand their requirements, doing proper analysis and feedback and briefing the team.

Desired Skills:

Excellent working knowledge of PHP based MVC frameworks like Laravel or Node js.
Good understanding of Database concepts and working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and MYSQL.
Good knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
A clear understanding of RESTful API development standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience with AWS services.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes.
Prior experience on system architecture is a plus.

Requirements:

3 years plus experience as a software engineer.
Excellent understanding of tech stacks like PHP, Laravel, Node js. Not all but any of them.
Experience with front-end development is a plus.
Experience as a Team Lead is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree.
