For our engineering team we are looking for outstanding engineers to play a key role in building the next generation SIEM solution. A big part of the job is building the framework and integrations for a variety of protocols and formats in the LogPoint solution meaning experience with industry standards and 3rd party integrations will be preferred.

You will be part of the 140+ Engineering Team which consists of project managers, architects, QA and software engineers collaborating on the different components of the system, so we are actively seeking individuals who can work efficiently on their own, but also take an active role of something bigger and meet expectations from other teams and colleagues.

Requirements:

• Prior Experience of enterprise level programming
• Passion for programming
• Solid experience using Java or Python. Knowledge of additional programming languages is a plus
• Knowledge of object oriented design and development, design patterns
• Experience with server programming and socket programming and messaging libraries like zeromq
• Familiarity with regular expression, data formats like json
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structure especially with relation to complex event processing would be an advantage
• Knowledge about performance and optimisation with relation to Java and Python services would be a plus.
• Familiarity with testing framework like junit, nosetests
• Familiarity with agile development practises like Scrum would be plus point
• Familiarity with version control system like svn and git
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field will be preferred
• Ability to work under tight time constraints with dynamic requirements
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay careful attention to detail
• Capacity to work well in groups as well as independently.
