About The Company

Zum Ride is a pioneering Smart Cycle sharing service offering an affordable, convenient, and eco-friendly transportation option. Our service aims to reduce traffic congestion, lower emissions, and promote a greener city environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (React/Next.js).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and stakeholders, to define technical requirements and implement solutions.
• Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to software development best practices.
• Work on both frontend and backend development, integrating APIs, databases, and user interfaces seamlessly.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement fixes to ensure the stability of Zum Ride's digital platforms.
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality standards.
• Participate in Agile development workflows, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and user experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (React.js/Next.js).
• Proven experience building and maintaining web applications, including user-facing frontend interfaces and backend APIs.
• Strong understanding of Laravel and experience building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in React.js/Next.js, with a solid understanding of state management (Context API, TanStack Query, Redux, or Others).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Familiarity with other programming languages or frameworks (Python, Go)..
• Experience with containerization tools, such as Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as Google Cloud.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Kanban development processes.
• Exposure to mobile application development or integrating APIs for hybrid platforms.
