We are seeking problem solvers to help us build next-generation features, products, and services. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers on microservices and event-driven architectures. You are expected to contribute to the architecture, design, and development of new features, identify technical risks, and find alternate solutions to various problems. Additionally, the role demands leadership to motivate & mentor other team members with respect to technical challenges.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Define and drive the technical architecture of our software solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
• Engage in both backend and frontend development, utilizing React/Vue for front-end and Node.js for back-end, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, testable, and maintainable code through best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and code reviews.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs.
• Focus on achieving high system uptime, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to maintain reliability.
• Implement and manage integration with various supporting systems, such as authentication providers, search tools, and monitoring tools.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years development experience developing complex, scalable web-based applications with 4+ years in eCommerce/Digital Commerce domain with high volume transactions as Software Architect or similar role.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with technology stack like React/Vue and Node.js as a full stack developer and extensive hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Commitment to producing high-quality, testable, and scalable code, with experience in TDD and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in AWS, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, MySQL.
• Strong understanding and implementation of agile methodologies, including participation in roadmap planning and retrospectives.
• Familiarity with systems like Auth0, AzureAD, or similar authentication providers.
• Good to have experience with Elasticsearch, Algolia, or AWS OpenSearch.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software architecture and development.
• Experience with Amazon AWS services, containerization, API Gateway etc 
• Experience with GIT, bitbucket, or Github and the Features branching workflow 
• Knowledge or experience with GitHub Co-Pilot.
