Roles and responsibilities of this job
We are seeking a qualified, passionate, and dedicated Social Studies / Nepali Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured and engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities to enhance learning.
Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, class tests, projects, and examinations.
Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and student-friendly classroom environment.
Encourage student participation in discussions, group work, and extracurricular learning activities.
Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and academic reports.
Communicate student progress, performance, and concerns with parents/guardians and school administration.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
Support and contribute to extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
Job Specification
Required qualifications for this job
Other Specification
Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or related field/ Teaching license.
Master’s Degree is preferred.
Previous teaching experience in school is preferred (1–3 years).
Strong understanding of Social Studies and/or Nepali curriculum.
Familiarity with national curriculum standards and assessment methods.
Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
