Caritas Nepal, a leading national NGO, invites qualified Nepali citizens for Caritas Nepal Regional Office, Gaidakot, Nawalparashi. The contract will be for initially one year with the possibility of further extension. Caritas Nepal is implementing the project “Building resilience in an urban community in Nepal “in Gaidakot Municipality. And the called positions will be working in the project mentioned above.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• + 2 level or equivalent in any academic stream.
• At least 2 years of work experience in similar job responsibilities 
• Experience of working in livelihood and disaster risk reduction sectors will be an added advantage
• Good communication skills in Nepali (English will be an added advantage)
• Ability and willingness to work in team and to work under pressure and in remote/difficult circumstances
• Good knowledge of project location and community-Gaindakot municipality; ward 2 and 3
• Good communication skills both in Nepali and English
• Ability to work with multi-cultural team of volunteers, national and international staff.
• Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
• Local residence will be given more preference.
• Skill of computer application word, excel, power point etc. 
• Two wheeler driving licence will be an added advantage.
• Ability and willingness to frequent field visit in the project area.

• To communicate and orien m t the community about the project objectives 
• To manage the local level meeting, group discussion, orientation, training for the activities as per the project objective in coordination with supervisor. 
• To coordinate the local stakeholders such as ward chairperson and members, ward secretariat, schools authorities, and other related stakeholder/committees at ward and community level. 
• To collect and prepare the data as required for the project.
• To support to identify the need of training and workshop and assist to supervisor to conduct them.
• To submit the regular report on event, monthly, quarterly, trimester basis as per requirement to the supervisor. 
• To perform the work as per rules and regulations of organization.
