Children-Women in Social Service and Human Rights (CWISH), a non-profit civil society organization established in 1993 with an aim to ensure social justice, protection and promotion of human rights especially the rights of children and youths, invites applications for different posts: Project Coordinator, Youth Advocacy Coordinator and District Youth Mobilization Officers from interested and eligible candidates (Nepali citizens only) who are reliable, accountable, and have ability to deliver results with highest level of integrity.

The vacancy is called for Nepal based positions for a south Asian regional (Nepal, India, Pakistan) project, “From LOCAL to GLOBAL: strengthening, networking and capacity building of youth-led activities for the right to a clean and healthy environment” funded by Terre Des hommes (TDH Germany) and Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) Germany.

  • Sound and proven knowledge in community mobilization and child protection action in the community level
  • At least 3 years of experience working in the community preferably for mobilization of the child protection mechanisms in the community.
  • Good documentation and communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken Nepali, knowledge of English shall be additional benefit
  • Good typing skill both in Nepali and English
  • Sound knowledge in computer in handling all the office packages.

Job Description

  • Implementation of Designated programs in their respective clusters
  • Monitoring and follow up of the community actions along with adequate documentation and communication with relevant section and stakeholders.
  • Documentation of the good practices, success stories from the community level and contribute in programming
  • Act as local resource person and team leader of the respective clusters
  • Coordination with community based child protection mechanism to ensure protective environment to the children
  • Explore the different options/ resources in community for child protection
  • Lobby with VDCs and other stakeholders for implementing child friendly local governance
