Job Summary
Digital Gurkha is hiring a Social Media Marketing Trainer to deliver practical training sessions. The ideal candidate should be an experienced strategist with expertise in key platforms and tools, including Loomly, SocialPilot, UpContent, Curata, Brandwatch, Mention, TapInfluence, Buzzsumo, Lumen5, Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, Tailwind, Zoho Social, Sprout Social, and Oktopost.
Job Duties
- Plan and deliver comprehensive social media marketing training sessions.
- Cover essential topics: content planning, social media advertising, analytics, and campaign management.
- Teach the use of social media tools: Loomly, SocialPilot, UpContent, Curata, Brandwatch, Mention, TapInfluence, Buzzsumo, Lumen5, Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, Tailwind, Zoho Social, Sprout Social, Oktopost.
- Guide students in creating and executing social media campaigns: strategy development, brand positioning, audience targeting.
- Provide real-world case studies and role-play exercises.
- Offer hands-on training for platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter.
- Teach analytics for measuring campaign ROI and customer engagement.
- Create interactive learning experiences: quizzes, live assignments, leaderboard tracking.
- Stay updated on social media trends and technologies.
Trainers Are Responsible For
- Preparing and delivering structured, interactive lesson plans focused on social media marketing strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Teaching the use of industry-standard social media tools like Loomly, SocialPilot, UpContent, Curata, Brandwatch, Mention, TapInfluence, Buzzsumo, Lumen5, Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, Tailwind, Zoho Social, Sprout Social, and Oktopost.
- Designing a gamified learning experience where students can participate in challenges, earn rewards, and achieve mastery of social media marketing concepts.
- Providing personalized support by answering student queries and providing one-on-one guidance to struggling students.
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback on assignments, and ensuring students achieve learning outcomes.
- Motivating students to think critically about social media marketing strategies and apply what they've learned in real-world projects.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- High school pass-out or higher qualification.
Experience:
- At least 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing strategy.
- Proven success in social media campaign management, social media advertising, and influencer marketing.
- Experience managing social media platforms for brands, agencies, or as a freelancer.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in the following tools:
- Loomly, SocialPilot, UpContent, Curata, Brandwatch, Mention, TapInfluence, Buzzsumo, Lumen5, Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, Tailwind, Zoho Social, Sprout Social, and Oktopost.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and the ability to teach students how to track and improve social media performance.
- Ability to train students in content planning, campaign development, content curation, social media automation, and reporting.
- Experience with social media ad platforms like Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and YouTube Ads.
Teaching Skills:
- Prior experience in training, teaching, or mentoring is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to develop an interactive, student-centered learning experience.
Soft Skills:
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for students.
- Patience: Ability to work with students at different skill levels, offering guidance and encouragement.
- Interpersonal Skills: Positive attitude, approachable demeanor, and strong mentoring abilities to create a collaborative learning environment.
