Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy: Design and implement content strategies tailored to each platform, including Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Mastodon, Reddit, Medium, and Pinterest. Ensure content is optimized for engagement and aligned with our brand identity with a focus on driving engagement and growth.
- Social Media Management: Craft and manage detailed social media calendars to ensure consistent, on-brand, and timely content delivery.
- Trend Analysis & Innovation: Stay ahead of social media trends, using your insights to drive innovative strategies that boost engagement and reach.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Use social media analytics tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Sprout Social to track the performance of campaigns. Provide regular reports and actionable insights to refine strategies.
- Collaborative Content Creation: Collaborate with our design team to create visually appealing and impactful content using tools like Canva, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. Tailor content for specific platforms, considering format and audience preferences.
- Campaign Development & Optimization: Assist in creating and optimizing multi-platform social media campaigns, ensuring they drive brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation. Focus on A/B testing to identify the most effective strategies.
- Streamlining Content Production: Work on streamlining content production flows, including designing serializable templates for video and multimedia content to ensure consistency and efficiency across multiple languages and platforms.
- Community Engagement: Build and nurture our online communities by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and fostering meaningful interactions that align with our brand values.
Qualifications
- Social Media Enthusiast: A genuine passion for social media, with hands-on experience managing platforms like Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Mastodon, Reddit, Medium, and Pinterest. Familiarity with the unique features and best practices of each platform.
- Portfolio (Highly Encouraged): A portfolio that showcases your ability to create compelling content—whether graphics, videos, or written posts. While not mandatory, a portfolio is highly encouraged to demonstrate your creative capabilities.
- Content Strategy Interest: A strong interest in learning how to develop and execute content strategies that align with broader marketing goals and resonate with diverse audiences.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience or willingness to learn how to use design and content creation tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop to produce high-quality visuals. Familiarity with social media management tools like Zoho Social, Social Media Business Manager, and ad management tools for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Analytical Mindset: Eager to develop skills in analyzing social media metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Sprout Social. Ability to translate data into actionable insights to improve performance.
- Proactive & Creative: A proactive attitude with a bias for action—ready to test, iterate, and optimize content in real-time. A creative thinker who can identify trends and innovate across various channels.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Coursework or projects related to social media management, digital marketing, or content creation are a plus.
