Now, we’re looking for a Social Media Manager to help us build bold, human, and high-impact digital presence across platforms.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing and growing the social media presence of Mandarix and its portfolio brands (in-house and client). This includes creating scroll-stopping content, running experiments, building engaged communities, and bringing creative energy to every post, reel, and story.
This is a creative-meets-strategic role: you’re not just posting, you’re crafting narratives, driving engagement, and measuring real outcomes.

What You’ll Own
Creative Execution
- Build fast-turnaround campaigns, ride real-time trends, and design evergreen playbooks.
- Work across formats: carousels, videos, threads, memes, live content, influencer collabs, and more.
- Own the day-to-day management of social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, Reddit, and others as needed).
- Create original, creative, high-quality content (both written and visual) in line with each brand’s tone and audience–ontent that turns followers into fans and brands into movements.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, video editors, and other team members to ship fast, bold, and engaging campaigns.
- Plan and execute monthly content calendars, but also react in real-time to trends, news, and cultural moments.
- Use AI tools where appropriate to speed up ideation and repurposing, without losing authenticity.
- Grow and manage communities, respond to DMs/comments, initiate conversations, and build loyalty.
- Track performance, extract insights, and continuously optimize for engagement, reach, and conversion.
- Work on building social media profiles of our in-house and client brands.
Strategic Ownership
- Set platform strategy for each portfolio brand (Mandarix + clients).
- Define and track key growth metrics—then exceed them.
- Run experiments to test creative hypotheses and scale what works.
Community + Culture
- Grow engaged followings—not vanity metrics.
- Shape online communities that drive loyalty, feedback loops, and momentum.
- Infuse every piece of content with human tone, cultural context, and real value.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or startup.
- Strong writing and editing skills, especially for short-form content.
- Hands-on experience with Canva, Figma, or other design tools (basic level is fine if you're fast and creative).
- Understanding of platform nuances (you know LinkedIn is not Instagram, and a reel is not a TikTok).
- Familiarity with AI tools (like ChatGPT, Copy.ai, Midjourney, etc.) to support fast-paced content creation.
- Excellent time management, you can juggle multiple brands/accounts without dropping the ball.
- Deep understanding of social trends, digital culture, and audience psychology.
Bonus (Nice to Have)
- Experience building influencer brands on LinkedIn.
- Experience with paid social campaigns (boosting, targeting, analyzing).
- Video editing skills (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.)
- B2B SaaS or travel content experience.
