Position Overview:

As a Social Media Content Writer, you are responsible for crafting compelling content and distributing such content across various social media platforms. Your primary objective is to create engaging content and execute seamless posting strategies in line with the client’s or the line manager’s brief for the client’s various marketing, branding and business development needs that resonate with and attract the target audience. 

Social Media Content Writer at Infinity Digital Agency is a creative administrative role that falls under the Project Department at IDA who is responsible for bringing projects to life. This position directly reports to the Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and create original, compelling content tailored for different social media platforms.
  • Develop a strategic posting schedule aligned with audience engagement trends and platform algorithms.
  • Collaborate with Project Officers/Client Service Executives to grasp client requirements and core messages for social media content.
  • Research and analyze content needs by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, staying updated on market trends.
  • Brainstorm and develop content ideas in collaboration with the creative team, ensuring alignment with brand identity and client objectives.
  • Gain in-depth understanding of products, target audiences, and competitor strategies to craft impactful content ideas.
  • Present concepts and copy to supervisors for review, adapting and refining as needed based on feedback.
  • Execute content posting across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging.
  • Curate and schedule content using social media management tools, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand voice and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, preparing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing actionable insights.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to enhance posting strategies and content relevance.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of social media content using analytics tools, making data-driven adjustments to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Collaborate with designers, illustrators, and relevant personnel to ensure high-quality visuals complementing the content.
  • Maintain a content calendar, scheduling and organizing posts to ensure timely and relevant delivery.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in social media and content marketing.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience as a copywriter or related role preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent knowledge in grammatically written English
  • Good knowledge in grammatically correct written Nepali
  • Experience of online content strategy and creation preferred but not mandatory 
  • Experience in managing multiple social media platforms, including content scheduling, audience engagement, and platform-specific best practices is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good writing, editing and proofreading skills in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
  • Understand the different language styles that appeal to various target markets
  • Good knowledge & research skills to analyze and evaluate different Social Media platforms, content styles, demographics
  • Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
  • Be able to see other people's points of view and take on board feedback (Receptiveness to feedback)
  • Capacity to adapt to evolving social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates to optimize posting strategies.
  • Work well in a team and with a range of creative people
  • Have a collaborative spirit and excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Be highly self-motivated and well organized
  • Be highly creative and imaginative, and curious about clients' products or services
  • Awareness of social, cultural, market and internet trends
  • Willingness to meet deadlines.
  • Strong research skills

Knowledge of and Experience with SEO, Digital Marketing or Social Media Marketing Field is preferred but not mandatory. Freshers are encouraged to apply.
